play with the pitch
he said, ‘I just wan be rich!’
we never synced the vocals, was it all just a glitch
pushed back on the board, swore i won’t see it switch
he blinked too long, lil boy your brain a whole snitch
I’m over the water signs
clear eyes and blurred lines
cheap thrills
eyes wide
with nothing but dollar signs
water runs still
in photos as one line
moves in its confines
like jazz with no bass lines
a port with no airlines
taking me nowhere
sure, they glide but she flies
‘it’s a dog eat dog world there,’ he looks down and sighs
see, I’ve seen a few dog fights but I’m not one for sidelines
heard that, rest easy, now I’ll never be your B—
